INITIAL BOOKING CONSULTATION

Upon having sent your online referral, we will get in contact with you to confirm your initial appointment, we will also:

  • Confirm the date and time for your appointment, including duration of session and travel fees.

  • Introduce the Online NeuCore Welcome Pack

    • Explain what's included (Service Agreement, Cancellation Policy, Consent Form, and Welcome Letter)​

    • Let you know how to complete and return the forms before your first session, if possible.

  • Answer any questions:

    • Clarify fees, payment methods, and what to expect during your the first visit, making sure we are the right fit for your needs and therapy goals.​​

Our goal at NeuCore Physiotherapy is to make your first appointment seamless, so you feel prepared and confident.​

AFTER BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

Once you are all booked with us and ready for your initial appointment, there are few things we would love for you to read over and send back to us prior to the appointment to minimise delay.

  • You will receive an email with links to these electronic forms. These links include:​​

    • Service Agreement Form (Private OR NDIS)

    • Consent Form (Treatment, Photography/Video, Sharing of information - Private OR NDIS)

    • Cancellation Policy (Private OR NDIS)​

  • You will also receive a text message as a reminder for the upcoming appointment.​​

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

On the day of your assessment, this is when we complete the comprehensive session:

  • Take a full history of your condition and goals

  • Complete a physical assessment tailored to your needs (Neuro, Ortho, or Musculoskeletal) with a focus on movement capacity, functional ability and environmental support.

  • Provide a clear explanation of findings

  • Outline a recommended treatment plan, provide treatment, education and schedule your follow up appointment(s).

We'll make sure you have a clear understanding and a plan to move forward.
